Praise the Lord for His abundant grace and mercy as the Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ (4th watch) Singapore Locale held its very first “Gawad Parangal”. This event is to honor God and acknowledge the brethren who faithfully worked hard to do His will.
It is needless to say that the highest gawad-parangal belongs to our God and so the local brethren dressed up their best outfits and best wear for God’s glory as they stepped in well-decorated worship hall.
The program commenced with “The Prayer” rendition by Bro. Dennis Costa and Sis. Leonora Oriola followed by an opening prayer by Sis. Alma Cruz. The WSG singing group led the crowd to sing praises and adorations for the Lord through their opening number.
A look-back on how God worked mightily on this local church was unveiled by a video presentation. An inspirational message was delivered by Head Pastor, Sister Donna Robles, where she highlighted the importance of Gawad Parangal done inside the church “Ito ay gaya ng pagpaparangal na gagawin sa langit sa harap ng Ama at ng mga banal”. She further elaborated that “Those who serve and follow the Lord will receive their eternal rewards from the Father and their final destiny is where Jesus is, there they will also be.” (John 12:26)
The awarding proper was presented by selected couples and pairs of brother and sister, and awards handed over by Sister Donna Robles and Sister Hiyasmin Martin. The major awards include Mananamba Award, Soul Winner Award, Soul Harvester Award , Abel Excellent Giving and Covenant Keeper Award and Kingdom Award.
