Joy of true salvation

“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope”

My Spiritual journey began when I was baptized in Singapore in the year 2013. Through the persistent sharing of the gospel of Sister Ruth Lim and Sister Alma Cruz, I was able to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as my Redeemer. Back then, I was an inactive Christian as I didn’t make time to serve Him due to my busy schedule. So, I’m truly blessed to be a lost sheep found and be placed in His true church, the Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ 4th Watch, led by God’s true sent one, the living Apostle.

As I became an active part of the church, His blessings started to pour. Recently, I was granted a tourist visa in Australia. I’ve been aiming to migrate there with my family and the visa given to me is my stepping stone to greener pastures. But instead of being overjoyed, I felt incomplete.Thru the teachings of the true sent ones of God in the church,  I have come to a realization that as a believer of Christ, my deepest concern does not rely anymore on my career growth but rather for the salvation of my family to share the same true gospel as I have received.

I decided to go back to the Philippines so I could proclaim God’s love to my husband and children. Fortunately, Pastor Nelda of Malagasang Cavite locale had been conducting Bible studies during her house visitations. While staying in my home country for a few months, I received various job offers abroad including my previous company in Singapore. However, no matter how promising the offers are and my Australian application, I did not give in to the temptation because even though I was left jobless, my priority now is to focus on my family’s salvation.

As I am facing crossroads, I continue to pray for guidance and I consistently bring my whole family to the weekday services and Sunday worship.
One day, an opportunity given to me to go to Vietnam. Without second thoughts, I went and shortly after arriving, I started to apply for jobs. The following day, I was called in for an interview and before the end of the week they asked me to sign the employment contract.

It seems like God’s mercy has an abundant outpour because 2 weeks later, I was informed that my husband and children received Christ as their savior and had been baptized and continuously attending the church services. True enough,if we seek God’s will first, He will fulfill the desires of our heart.

By God’s grace, I am able to continue serving Him in the Local church of Vietnam as I’m currently based in Ho Chi Minh City and blessed to say I am a part of the Children’s ministry. I maybe away from my family, but I am at peace for I know that they have the salvation of their souls. As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. To God be all the Glory!
