Reaching a Common Goal
Peniel* reach the goal by the grace and not by the race,
yet they are the ones who ignite the starter to signal a “greeney road-run”
Gilead* shouts for joy and begins to move slowly but surely,
with a big leap from being a “child” to a mature-like.
Mizpah* follow suit consistently and constantly,
and found a way to reach even more and beyond.
Jerusalem* has made an “extended Jericho wall” finding the most giver of them all,
and run as far as they could.
Finally, true enough with what this term is well known for,
Macedonia* quietly accepts the challenge twice,
and so, God answer and bless them twice and put them on top.
With this, we find so much grace in unrival race.
With a sense of cooperation rather than of competition.
With a sense of a companion rather than of a rival.
Reaching a consensus goal without making one’s winning
at the expense of someone’s losing.
For having done so, we shall all receive the prize together
before the great Rewarder.

goal-achiever during the 2013 Christmas come Caroling programs.
